Ah yes, the reality of sponsoring international conferences is the need for funds.  We have our upcoming 9/11, 10/11 and 11/11 events in Aptos as well as a fundraiser on Sept 18th in Long Beach and 9/25 in Santa Cruz.  All of these events serve to inform the public about our work, educate to break the cycles of violence as well as bring in needed funds to cover the costs of our upcoming Youth Interfaith Conference in Nigeria Oct 27-29.  We look forward to seeing you there.

Planning is coming along nicely.  Currently I’m working with Emmanuel Ivogba, co-founder and director of NEEDCSI, the local non profit we work with in Jos, Nigeria, on wrapping up the 2011 conference agenda.
